English 153 section A02 Winter 2001

Claire Albrecht (The limits of art) grew up in the small town of Canal Winchester, located near Columbus, Ohio. She grew up in a upper-middle class, Catholic family. She has a father, Steve, a mother, Anne, an older sister, Kelly, and an older brother named Ben.

Jessica Arth (Dreams) was born the third and final daughter to a family in July of 1982. She was raised in a home with her parents, her two older sisters and a cousin. She is working towards a pre-veterinary degree. She loves warm weather and can't wait for summer.

Rebecca Balser (The limits of art) is the youngest of three with a brother Tobias and a sister Katie. She feels her parents are the most adorable things ever to be paired on this earth. Her father was raised in Hicksville, Ohio, and yes that really is the name. Rebecca loves her puppy Jessie and hopes one day to be as happy as her parents.

Kelly Bartemes (The system/2) is from Huron Ohio, which is located on the shore of Lake Erie. He has a sister who is a senior here at OU and two brothers still in high school. Kelly’s mother, Diedre, is a teacher at the elementary school in his town of Huron. His dad, Greg, works at an industrial plant and is the assistant baseball coach at Kelly’s old high school.

Pete Beagle (The system/2) is a graduate of Upper Arlington High School and resides in Cloumbus, Ohio. In his free time, Pete enjoys playing golf and video games. He is a journalism major.

Emily Cox (Reality is mad as a hatter) is a Special Education major from Akron, Ohio. She likes movies, music, hockey, her dog, college life, and pancakes.

AnnaLiesa Dunn (Celebration of fantasy) is originally from Birmingham, Alabama. She and her two older siblings grew up in Columbus and Westerville, Ohio. She enjoys participating in (playing marimba and vibraphone), and supporting WGI drumlines. When she's not busy with college courses, she enjoys listening to music, hanging out with friends, and playing basketball. She is currently considering a career in business or engineering.

Kelsey Edwards (Celebration of fantasy) is an Engineering Physics major, and is from Ravenna, Ohio. She has two brothers, and all three siblings are involved in Tae Kwon Do, she being the last to take up the martial art. She also enjoys acting in community theatre.

Tom Fedeli (Dreams) is Patrick's favorite student. He practices the art of taxidermy and enjoys riding horses. He relaxes to the sound of Buckethead's shredding and watching Todd Weeks videos. He was born and raised in Lima, Ohio where he was a "produce guru" at a local supermarket. His favorite authors are Drunvalo Melchizedek and Franz Kafka.

Pat Gallant (The system/2) is planning on applying to the business school. His family includes three older brothers. Patrick's parents live in Worthington in the same house he and his brothers grew up in. His interests include working out and listening to Pearl Jam.

Quel Gordon (The limits of art) likes butterscotch topping on her ice cream and anchovies on her pizza. She enjoys listening to heavy metal music and is always game for a round of horseshoes.

Matt Green (The limits of art) is currently studying Accounting and is a member of the Delta Upsilon International Fraternity. He hails from Parkersburg, West Virginia, but lived most of his life in the Seattle area. He plans on moving back to the West Coast upon graduation.

Becca Jump (Celebration of fantasy) calls small-town Willard, Ohio, home and has lived there most of her life. She is majoring in biological sciences and hopes to enter the field of marine biology.

Pat Madden (teacher) loves his wife, Karina, his children, Pato and Adi, the rest of his family (too numerous to list), the band Rush, another band called King's X, some other miscellaneous bands including Toad the Wet Sprocket (R.I.P.), the t.v. show Survivor, Uruguay, Eduardo Galeano's writing, writing essays (of his own), reading, teaching, and bacon.

Noel Parish (Reality is mad as a hatter) is a Biological Sciences major though she wants to change to a chemistry major. She graduated from Howland High School in Warren, Ohio. In high school, Noel Played on the basketball, soccer, and track teams. She also sang in the choir.

Nick Perry (Reality is mad as a hatter) was born and grew up in Athens. He has always been interested in the environment and art. He even calls himself an artist every now and then. Skateboarding is the other love of his life; he has been skating since early high school and still tries to skate everyday. He thinks he has some friends too, and maybe some parents.

Erin Robb (Reality is mad as a hatter) is an aspiring history major who also enjoys the Beatles and making no-budget movies with her friends. She likes interesting documentaries (like about Jack the Ripper or the Elephant Man,) and she is a work-study in the Disbursement Office at OU.

Ashby Rosenberger (Celebration of fantasy) is from New Richmond, Ohio. He's a Gemini, enjoys water-sports, and long romantic walks on the beach. Actually, he enjoys snowboarding, partying with his friends, camping, making music, and going to his English 153 class. He is currently a theater major and one day hopes to act professionally.

Tiffany Wildermuth (Dreams) is from Sidney, OH. She is a Secondary Language Arts Education major and enjoys swimming and being in the sun. Her favorite musical groups are *NSYNC, Live, Counting Crows, and Life House.

Drew Willman (The system/2) is an outdoorsy kind of guy who likes to do anything that is related to camping, hiking, climbing, etc. He enjoys working on Jeeps and going out with the ladies. Most of his class time is spent in art classes because he wants to major in graphic design and someday become an advertiser. He thoroughly appreciates his family and friends for helping him get to school.
