Dreams at the End of Exile/3 Her glasses were smashed and her keys were missing. She scoured the city for her keys, groping on hands and knees, and when at last she found them, the keys told her that they didn't open any of her doors. Galeano, Eduardo. The Book of Embraces. Tom's Interpretation
This dream represents a moment of sheer desperation and utter solitude.
Her glasses breaking represents the loss of a necessity. She is deep
in the minerals of life, groping on he hands and knees. She is
helpless and pitiful and has broken her most valuable of possessions, her
focus. On her hands and knees she searches blindly for the keys she
needs to get out. Once finding them she realizes they do not open
any of the doors. Link back to Title Page: Dream Abrazos |
